Would of been interesting to see how his career panned out he had great potential

The day prior to the collapse I was returning from a business trip. As the plane flew over the heart of Hartford on it's way to landing at BDL, I looked down and saw the snow and ice pack on the Civic centers roof and thought, "wow, that has got to be heavy." When I opened the paper the next morning and saw the headline I recalled the thought I had the day before.

I never liked them, they came to New York, and they wanted Johnny Thunders to open for them at the Beacon Theater. This was Johnny's town and there's no way he was going to do it and he was offered everything from drugs to the fanciest hotel and lots of money. He still wouldn't open for them. When they played their shows, I'm sure this tune was written shortly before and I'm sure JT didn't know of it. Always happy to shine the spotlight on other musicians, he came out and played with them for a few songs. Being a Thunders fan, I have no respect for them.
